AMAFOND is the Italian association of companies which produce machinery, plants,
furnaces and products for the foundry industry.

Established in 1946, AMAFOND is a founding member of CEMAFON - Comité Européen des Matériels et Produits pour la Fonderie, with which the British Association FESA, the French Association MTPS, and the German Association VDMA-GI.MA are associated, too.

AMAFOND is the Italian association of companies which produce machinery, plants,
furnaces and products for the foundry industry.
It was established in 1946, on the initiative of a group of important operators in this sector
and at present comprises the most qualified companies specialized in:

1 - FOUNDRY PLANTS
2 - FOUNDRY MACHINES
3 - MELTING AND INDUSTRIAL FURNACES
4 - FOUNDRY PRODUCTS
5 -FOUNDRY TECHNOLOGIES AND SERVICES

The members' products represent a large part of Italy's production,
and are well-know for their high quality, as a result of research and experience.
This production is distributed in Italy and all over the world.

Mission

The purpose of the Amafond is to represent its members in dealings with professional
categories such as Assofond and Assomet and other institutional organizations.
Our aim is:

To create the conditions for developing the training needed for the growth
of a group mentality;

To promote a behaviour code for members based on transparency, respect and
continually avasilable information;

To contribute to creating qualitative standards for the products offered by our members
so that their customers will perceive them as a means of improvement, in a prospective of
a positive market concorrential etic;

To project an image of industrial work respectful of people and the environment.
