China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) was found in 1999. It was renamed from China Metallurgical Enterprises Management Association. CISA currently has 175collective members and 8 individual members, 105executive members, 59 standing executive members. The top management includes president Xie Qihua, Consultant Wu Xichun, Deputy Chairman Wu Jianchang, Secretary of CPC party committee & Deputy Chairman Liu Chenjiang, Executive Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General Luo Pingsheng, Deputy Chairman Liu Jie, Deng Qilin, Zhu Jimin, Wang Tianyi, Liu Rujun, Li Xiaowei, Zhang Yingfu, Chen Chuan Ping, Lin Donglu, Hong Jibi, Gu Jianguo, Shen Wenrong, Li Changshun, Jiang Kaiwen, Wang Ziliang. Deputy Secretary-General Qi Xiangdong, Li Shijun, Yang Zunqing, Chen Xiaopu, Wang Liqun. In addition, 11 institutions operate under CISA. They are Market and Import & Export Coordination Committee, Enterprises Reform and Management Committee, Statistics and Information Committee, Quality Standardization Committee, Finance and Pricing Committee, Environmental Protection and Energy Saving Committee, Human Resources and Labour Security Committee, Metallurgical Equipment Committee, Logistics Committee, Diversified Business Operation Committee, Imported Iron Ore Committee.
CISA is dedicated to providing service to steel producers and functioning its role as bridge, link, adviser and assistant.
